Bonaire

Bonaire is a small island with a large reef. The whole coast is a marine park, the diving is done from the shore rather than from a boat, and in most places the coral starts a few meters out. That is why most guests come, and it is why many of them come back.

Above the water there is more than the island lets on at first: flamingos in the salt pans, wind that makes Lac Bay one of the better windsurfing spots anywhere, a capital you can cross on foot, and a food scene that runs from a food truck to a table with a tasting menu. These pages are what we tell guests when they ask, written down.
