Windsurfing and kiting on Bonaire

Windsurfing at Lac Bay, kitesurfing at Atlantis Beach since kiting is not allowed in Lac Bay, boat trips to Klein Bonaire and fishing charters.

Lac Bay on the east coast is shallow, flat and reliably windy, which is why it is one of the best-known windsurfing spots anywhere and why beginners and world champions use the same water. Kitesurfing is not allowed in Lac Bay. Kitesurfers go to Atlantis Beach in the south of the island instead.

If you prefer to be carried, Epic Tours and Melissa Sailing Trips run boat trips along the coast and across to Klein Bonaire. For fishing, Fishing Adventures Bonaire and Bonaire Big Game Fishing will take you out, and what you catch can go on the barbecue at the house that evening.

The water taxi to Klein Bonaire leaves from the boulevard in Kralendijk, several times a day.
